Mission Board

It is a good news to all of us that God has entered in human history in a unique way to make salvation available for everyone.  That great event divided the history in to two – AD and BC. “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, (Jesus) born of a woman, born under the law.”(Galatians 4:4).  Jesus commanded  “ Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you and I am with you always even to the end of age.” (Mt. 28:19).  On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon disciples and the Spirit led them to travel Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to various regions of the world to proclaim the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. In obedience to His command, India Christian Assembly church is committed to share the good news to local and international communities. The Church has formed a Mission Board consisting of a president, coordinator, nine board members, and a director to supervise the mission work in North India, mainly focusing in Haryana and Chhattisgarh states. The ministries mainly include  preaching gospel of salvation to the public, tract distribution, Sunday worship, Sunday school, bible study ,cottage meeting, house visit and counseling, fasting prayer and healing ministry cottage. Short term mission trips are also being conducted locally and abroad with gospel sharing, church planting, vacation bible schools, medical clinics and music concerts. Harvest is plenty and the workers are few.  Let us do our best to share the gospel to the unsaved people in person and by sending people on our behalf.  May God bless you and reward you richly.

Spreading the gospel to the lost is the primary responsibility of a Church and every Christian. Apostle Paul asks “How can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:14).Taking this as a challenge, India Christian Assembly formed a Mission board in 2006 for the better mission operations.

- Tract distribution
- House visit
- Hospital and nursing home visit
- Prison ministry
- Cricket Camps
- Public Concerts

At present, we are sponsoring evangelists in some of the most needy and un-reached areas of Chhattisgarh and Haryana states in India. This work is primarily supported by the regular contributions of believers. The dedicated workers we have commissioned are spreading the good news and serving God in various capacities. By the grace of God, several churches have  been planted  and the ministry is flourishing. Even though persecutions are arising in several areas, persecution never stopped the growth of Church.  Jesus said” I will build my Church.  Gates of hell will not overcome it”.  Our Lord Jesus is the builder, author and the architect of His Church.  Victory is in our side.
